Ali Brennen is the youngest cyclist on the GearUp4CF ride. At 20 years old, she’s also a double lung transplant recipient and is planning to ride 100 kms with her new lungs just 8 months after the surgery. I spoke with Ali about her training and a little bit about her experiences with cystic fibrosis (CF) and organ transplant. If able, please support Ali’s ride or my ride. All money raised by GearUp4CF riders goes to Cystic Fibrosis Canada and supports research towards finding a cure for CF. For transplant information and to register to become an organ donor: BC Transplant.
